The Philippine Pharma Procurement Inc. (PPPI) welcomed 2025 with a flag ceremony. This was followed shortly by a general assembly attended by all PPPI personnel, with PPPI President & CEO Maria Blanca Kim Bernardo-Lokin presiding. PCEO Lokin laid down the agency’s policy direction for the coming year and exciting times are ahead for PPPI as it prepares to launch its new flagship program, the Botika at Bakuna para sa Mamayan (BBM Pharmacy). This newest program is slated to open its pilot sites within the year. 

But even as PPPI prepares for this new chapter, it is committed to ensuring continuity of existing programs and services. PPPI will continue to maintain existing relationship with hospitals, both public and private, as well as the allied health profession, in order to ensure the widest possible network for distributing its inventory of low-cost but high-quality medicines. 

For 2025, the PPPI aims to bring to life one of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos’ priorities: accessible healthcare for every Filipino. Let’s work together to achieve a healthier, disease-free Philippines.
