“Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Week”
Pursuant to RA9501 otherwise known as the Magna Carta for MSMEs the second week of July of every year shall be declared as the “Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Week” with the primary purpose of instituting awareness of primacy of MSMEs in nation-building. This year MSMED Week will be held from 08-14 July 2024 with the overarching theme “innovate to Elevate MSMEs”. The theme underscores the pivotal role of innovation and digitalization in empowering MSMEs in today’s competitive business landscape. This week-long activities will be simultaneously conducted nationwide by the members of the MSMED Council and DTI offices. This include trade fairs and exhibits showcasing MSME products, free entrepreneurship seminars, and mentoring sessions to further strengthen the capacity of the MSMEs.
