The Philippine Pharma Procurement, Inc. (PPPI) held its 1st General Assembly under its new administration after the flag ceremony held on 02 September 2024, at the Alberto B. Barretto Hall of the NDC Building. The event marked the beginning of an exciting chapter as the new leadership work for a bigger and stronger PPPI, committed to its purpose of providing the Filipino people access to affordable and quality medicines.
President and CEO Maria Blanca Kim Lokin outlined her plans and programs to bring the company forward and be able to deliver on its mandate. She called upon the employees to work with her in ensuring the success of all the plans being laid out to improve access to medicines in the country.
The new Chairman of the Board of PPPI, Former Congressman of the 2nd District of Quezon City, Winston T. Castelo was the Guest of Honor. He echoed the call of P/CEO Lokin, for the officer and rank and file to commit to working together to build a stronger PPPI.
The gathering also served as a celebration of September as Generics Awareness Month as well as the birthday of P/CEO Lokin, who had her birthday on 31 August 2024
