PPPI continues to champion excellence, empowerment, and service as it marks two meaningful milestones this year.
In collaboration with the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC), headed by Officer-in-Charge Atty. Maria Gudelia Guese, PPPI conducted a half-day forum in line with the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration. Under the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the event highlighted the strength, leadership, and impact of women across all sectors.
Globally recognized human rights advocate and Founder of Voice of the Free, Ma. Cecilia F. Oebanda-Pacis, served as guest speaker, emphasizing the vital role of women in combating human trafficking and child labor—issues where women are disproportionately affected.
PPPI President & CEO Maria Blanca Kim Lokin reminded attendees, “When women lead, they inspire others, shape policies, and create environments where future generations can thrive. Let’s carry this momentum forward. The work doesn’t end here — together, we will continue to break barriers, empower one another, and build a future where every woman’s potential is realized.”
Beyond celebrating women’s leadership, PPPI also proudly commemorated a historic milestone — its 20th Anniversary. Last November 28, 2025, PPPI celebrated 20 years of dedicated service and impact in healthcare. The milestone program featured inspiring messages from President & CEO Kim Bernardo-Lokin, Chairman Winnie Castelo, Director Maria Lourdes Baua, and NDC General Manager Saturnino Mejia.
The celebration honored long-serving employees whose commitment and hard work have been instrumental to PPPI’s growth and success. The program included light icebreaker activities and an AVP presentation showcasing the organization’s milestones over the past two decades. The event concluded with closing remarks from Vice President for Administration, Josefina Leona Riel.
From empowering women across sectors to celebrating two decades of meaningful service, PPPI remains steadfast in its mission to build a stronger, more inclusive future for all.
